3C MaxxTerra
At Maxxis, the 3C tread is made from 3 different rubber compounds and is not made up of two strips. Therefore, the treads can be formed exactly according to the requirements of the respective tire model and thus the driving characteristics are optimized.
The freeride version of Maxxis 3C compounds. More grip and traction than the 3C MaxxSpeed ‹‹compound, with less rolling resistance and longer durability than 3C MaxxGrip. The ideal enduro and freeride blend because it combines good rolling resistance uphill with great grip on the descent.

EXO+
Our EXO+ construction combines two of our best puncture protection materials: SilkShield and EXO. The SilkShield layer runs from bead-to-bead with a layer of EXO along the sidewalls. Combined, these two materials create EXO+ which improves tread puncture protection by 27%; sidewall durability by 51%; and resistance to pinch flats by 28%.

Tubeless Ready Tubeless
tires have many advantages: you can drive with less air pressure. This gives better traction and reduces rolling resistance. And where there is no hose, the breakdown risk also decreases. Maxxis TR tires are better prepared for installation with sealant than other “tubeless ready” tires. The bead of the Maxxis TR tire is completely covered with a rubber layer like a real UST tubeless tire. As a result, tubeless fitting on all rims with standard dimensions is already successful on initial inflation and with little fluid.
